Robotic bodies made to carry and protect human consciousnesses from Destructions that affect the human body. Think of them as cyborgs, but their bodies are fully robotic. These beings are very common in Asteronia where the most prevalent form of the Destruction was the deformation of the human body, making them unable to support life.
A group of beings who aim to evolve and adapt themselves and others as quickly as possible so they will be able to withstand the Destruction and ascend them to gain power akin to sentinels. Most of their experiments are frowned upon by society and are often viewed as inhumane.
An umbrella term for phenomena that happens when a domain is collapsing on itself, or in other terms, when a world is about to end. These phenomena range from viruses which turn your body into an eternal fleshy creature that only feels pain, to watching the world turn into a computer and then implode. However, these phenomena always result in a domain destroying itself and then creating two alternate domains of itself, where the domain functions similarly to its parent domain, but also have distinct features that set them apart.
A universe with its own logic and systems. The people and said systems inside a domain may exist in another domain, but may be slightly altered, thanks to the Destruction. This leads to weird scenarios of people finding their clones when travelling across domains.
A group of domains, linked together by their similarities with other domains.
A train service (consisting of a solitary sentinel in the form of a train, see TENDON) which has the unique ability to transport anybody boarding it to different domains and is immune to the Destruction. The train can also accomodate beings who have lost their accomodation in the Destruction and relocate them to a new domain.
Very powerful beings in the Domain Network, if not the most, assigned to each domain with the goal to protect them and immune to the Destruction. However as time went by, they began to stray drastically away from their original purpose and started travelling to other domains, leaving many domains unprotected and therefore vulnerable to the Destruction. They are alternatively called "Gods" in certain domains.
