RAMONA

I'll make you realise your weight on this world.

Previously appointed a Reaper of Death, Ramona thought she had a clear cut purpose on this world. After the mysterious death of Death themself, she decided to take her life into her own hands and retrace the memories she had given away for the price of living again as a reaper, and ultimately understand who she was.

THROUGH THE MIRROR

"Sometimes I look into the mirror she gave me before we left. Mirrors are supposed to reflect what is in front of them. In this case, that would be me. But sometimes the person looking back is somebody I barely know. I think about the hardships that version of me would have gone through and whether they would have made her into a person like me. Or, would she have pushed through another route and maybe have accepted her fate unlike me. It's hard to know without pushing through life and finding things out for yourself."

A misty memory of a friend once gave her this peculiar mirror. Ramona for a while was assured that there was nothing more to that mere object, just a souvenir from the many journeys she'd gone through. After many more voyages, she finally took a minute to have a peaceful moment to herself, to appreciate the intricate handwork around the border, and look at last into the mirror. To her surprise, the reflections revealed a facet of who she was, and what she could have been. Knowing that it could be her guiding light to finding her memories, she grew fondly attached to it, sometimes gazing into it hours at a time. The traveller and her mirror are unseparable, that mirror was her only reliable map inside the maze that was herself.

If you seek more knowledge, why don't you take a peek in yourself?

WEAPON REFERENCE

EXODUS - ASTRONIA

Ramona knew that a long time ago, she died in this body, and through miraculous events, was revived in the same body. This body appeared human enough, but instead of flesh and veins, it held circuits and wires. It was a body some would describe as an automation model: robotic in nature but capable of holding a sentient mind within a memory chip, albeit Ramona's being slightly modified and rusted.

Automations were known during the Golden Age as indestructable beings, made to withstand the current Moonshine Syndrome, and even mortality. however a Reaper of Death struck their judgement, abruptly ending this era of progress and humbling everybody with the Crushing, another Moonshine Syndrome. Circuits were shattered and wires were torn to shreds. The Crushing would corrupt the memory chip and would eventually break their metallic shells for a body and corrupt other individuals, automation or not. That Reaper of Death soon left Astronia to crumble at the back of his mind, being unaware that people were being killed indiscriminatively.

It's undoubtable that the Crushing changed the entire world detrimentally. Despite being forsaken by Death, and thus having no power to suppress the supernatural forces of the Moonshine Syndromes, Ramona began her journey to restore order and judgement to Astronia, no matter what it took for her to do so. Even if it means going against another Reaper of Death.
